From Student to Teacher
EDUCATION
In 2022, I completed a Masters in Educational Theatre at New York University in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.
In 2020, I received a Professional Educator's License to teach Secondary Theatre & Drama (grades 5~12) in the state of Indiana.

In 2019, I graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors in Theatre & Drama, and a certificate in Secondary Education. Through the School of Education, my placement for student teaching was in the drama classroom at Bloomington High School North in Indiana, and in the English as a Foreign Language classrooms at Fukuyama University in Hiroshima Prefecture in Japan.
My prerequisites for student teaching included service learning and field experience at various schools around Bloomington during my time at IU. I also worked on many theatrical productions. Please see my educational resume or my theatrical resume for more details.
LITERACY HISTORY
My personal history of literacy is molded by my childhood of libraries and academic family members, and as I have grown my love for reading and for research has only strengthened my intentions to become a teacher, to spread the love of education and learning to my students in the classroom and in the rehearsal studio.
